Default Drivers side mirror bracket

The bracket broke and I've got a new one. Just a question of how to get the old one off... I'm assuming the door panel has to come off but where does the wire disconnect at so that I can feed it through?

Google and YouTube didn't have what I was searching for, so if anyone has a write up, that would be great!

  1. Remove the mirror bezel screw
  2. Remove the mirror bezel
  3. Remove the door trim panel
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector
  5. Remove the mirror nuts
  6. Remove the mirror
The connector is located behind the door trim panel near the top (close to the mirror). It has a "rosebud" clip holding it to the panel.
