Default Clutch Slipping, or something else?

So when I'm cruising along in my car with the throttle down, I will get a sudden jerk out of the engine, but it will pick right back up moving after that. It feels like for a split second the clutch disc lost its grip and then regained it. I don't know if that is something that can really happen or not though. There have been a handful of times where starting out in certain gears it may jerk a bit, or rev to high without gripping, but those events are few and far between. I started doing autocross with the car last year, so I am wondering if that has worn out the stock clutch. Just wanted to get some other opinions just incase I'm missing something. Thanks

I don't know what you are working on but my WS6 did that when the torsen carrier in the rear broke the small worm gears. It still moved ok but would suddenly rev then catch when the gears jammed against each other. Drove it long time like that............. probably not wise though as the rear could lock up if that's your trouble.

sounds like a misfire... if you have a LT1 then it's definitely a misfire.
