Water pump questions

I am looking to replace my water pump real soon.. it doesnt leak but the pulley/bearing is making an awful gravelly noise...

I see that Rock Auto has 2 AC delco pumps but the price difference is about 100 bucks... what exactly is the difference??

Also is the Holley 22-100 pump a decent unit or should I stick with AC Delco?

This doesn't really answer your questions but,
Neither of those two Rockauto GM numbers 19195105 and 19256263 appears on the GM parts layout catalog. The GM catalog shows a 12458934.
In 2010 I replaced my pump on my 98Z with a Cardone remanufactured pump ordered from Summit and drop shipped from Cardone, has been trouble free so far.

Have you been running with a noisy pump all this time? Is your pump now a failing replacement that you replaced back in 2014? If so, which one did you go with?

nope still the same pump... I found out that noise was actually the idler pulley and not the water pump so I didnt change it... but now its the WP LOL

This is because GM substituted the original pump for the LS2 pump. I have a link in Majestic9C1's original pump thread to a ACDelco Bulletin that explained the swap, with part numbers but they have since wiped it off the face of the internet...

I don't know anything about Holley's pump, but I do think this is a perfect situation to dance-with-who-you-came-with. The GM/ACDelco part has lasted 2 decades! I expect the only direction your performance and longevity can go from there, if you switch, is down...
