Issues with Air Check Valve removal

Issues with Air Check Valve removal Has anyone had issues trying to remove the Air Check Valve from the pipe? I had to remove the whole pipe and even with the pipe in a press and the check valve torched WOULD NOT BREAK LOOSE!!!
I could either Dremel the damn thing off or just buy another pipe ... which I'm having trouble finding. I don't like being defeated like that.... so ... out with the dremel!
