dash BRAKE warning light issue fix for
dash BRAKE warning light issue
1993-2002 Camaro :
in the center console (below the parking brake lever) is the switch for the dash light.
The switch requires a continuity for the dash light to be off.
For a worn switch (lack of continuity) here is the fix:
use ACDelco 18K279X Professional Front Disc Brake Caliper Hardware Qty. 2 and (2 pennies)
under the switch to force the continuity.
dash BRAKE warning light = off
parking brake lever up = dash BRAKE light on
Fix brake light problem with component from other region of system = HILARIOUS !
