High idle, 25 mph without using the throttle Moved my car last week to the other side if the garage once I finished the front suspension had no issues. I worked on it today and I was after I was done bleeding the brakes I started it up to go for a ride I noticed that it was idling around 1100-1200 rpm. When I put it in drive I let go of the brake and without me touching the throttle I was going about 25mph. Just wondering if anyone has any insight or thoughts or if this issue happened to them before. I'm thinking throttle position sensor? Any Insight would be helpful thanks
Did you disconnect the battery? If so, you'll need to re-learn the PCM, which involves driving the car at speed for a while. Until then, the sensor calibrations can be wonky.
The other thing to check for is disconnected sensors. If you disconnected the air intake system, look to make sure the air sensors are plugged back in well, etc.

If it has a hard pedal the diaphragm could be starting to leak in the Brake Booster. I just went through it. I ended up with one from Auto Zone because the one I ordered elsewhere still hasn't arrived. It was supposed to be here Thursday and I needed it for the weekend. If that's it let me know and I could sell you that one (original low mile pull off assured to be good from them).
