A/C Stuck on I had fixed a leaky vacuum line about a year ago, to fix the problem of the A/C Heater only blowing through the defrost and heater vents. Now, the problem is back, except it is also stuck in A/C. Know matter where I turn the Dial, A/C stays on and the Air only blows from the defrost and the heater vents.
2001 Trans Am WS6 Vert, manual trans.
No Service Engine lights.
Bad A/C Control or something else?

A good guess would be the AC control, but you'll need to pull it out of the dash and test it. That control is a combination unit. It has a vacuum selector for the vents and then electrical contacts for the A/C on/off. (The A/C runs in the A/C and defrost modes.)
Temperature is controlled by different selector and mechanism.
Odd that the switch would break in this way, but I suppose it could happen.
