Default Pop up headlight issue

Alright, since the prevailing thought is the adjusters I bought are right and the the stock bumpers are no longer produced, I put one in. Screwed right in. However didn’t fix my problem. The headlight somehow is not sitting in there correctly so I cannot pop up the lights with the hood closed. Pardon the crappy final pic. But here is how far it is off. It comes down over the hood oddly. Send help.

on my 94 I had to do all 3 of these things for the light to not make contact with the hood: adjust the hood back towards the windshield, adjust the whole headlight assembly forward, and adjust the headlight cover plate forward.

What exactly did you do and change on the light?

This happened to me once before when I took the entire assembly out and re-installed it. I had something in the wrong place or backwards. Attaching the light correctly solved the issue.

I would work this out with the hood open for starters. Please post better pictures and shots of your new bumper, the motor attachment, the arm, and the two pivot points at the top of the light.

I did literally nothing. Had to take the battery out to charge it because it was dead but that was it. Maybe I leaned on it trying to get the damn bolt that holds the battery in place? Other than that, I didn't do anything new. Just tried to pop it up for a Corona Cruise that was going on here one night and that was the case.

OK. Check both sides. Look at the two bolts that the assembly pivots on. The skin on the top can also get out of place. Comparing each side to each other should show you what is going on and what is out of place.
