clunking/vibration on decel and turning
hey guys, im experiencing a new issue on my car that started about 2 weeks ago, i feel a clunking/ vibration under the drivers floor board/trans tunnel that becomes apparent on decel and when cornering @55mph. i changed out both u joints on the driveshaft as well as the slip yoke and also replaced the torque arm bushing with polyurethane (things that needed to be done anyways since they were original). changing these things out did absolutely nothing and i still have the same exact noise at the exact same times. i also checked the y pipe and exhaust and nothing has changed same clearance as always and isnt flexing so im at a complete loss as to what else to look at that may be causing this.

trans mount is solid no play whatsoever, I checked everything suspension related and everything is nice and tight, it’s at its worst when I’m going 50+ and I let off and all I feel is clunking somewhere in the driveline. Like I said I replaced both u joints and my torque arm bushing to try and narrow it down. And still nothing same exact thing still happening. Only two things that stand out to me are when I wiggle the drive shaft at the tail housing it does have a little play to it with a slight clunking but every forum I’ve read on here discussing that most people say it’s normal to have some play there. The other thing is when I wiggle the driveshaft at the diff it’s all solid no play whatsoever. I’m at a complete loss the car is pretty much undriveable as it’s getting worse
