I got a CD-ROM set on ebay years ago and still have them but it won't work on any Windows version newer than Windows 7. Even Windows 7 requires running the Windows XP emulator to make it work. A Chilton's or Haynes manual may be your best bet these days. If you do find an old set on CD-ROM and you have a Windows XP or Windows 7 license lying around, you can create a virtual machine using Oracle VM VirtualBox software.

Helm, Inc. is the publisher for the official manuals and they are excellent -> by far superior to the 3rd party manuals. (You can completely disassemble the car and put it back together with these. There are only a few missing procedures, which are well documented on this and other sites.) The catch is that only the 2002 manuals are still available.

If you go to eBay, there are some excellent used manuals available: https://www.ebay.com/i/274483597636?...xoCuZ0QAvD_BwE

Beware of the knock-offs on USB or CD-ROM. They may look like they are "official" but they are illegal pirates. Get the official paper manuals and you'll have everything.

Funny you mentioned Oracle... I actually have it running my windows 10 pc for my audi a4... I got the XP emulator as part of the Repair Manual. It takes some getting used to but i bet it was pretty advanced tech when it came out tho.
