Cam Sensor O-ring Question Hey guys, I switched my cam sensor o-ring out - question for you guys :
If this oring got pinched (which I doubt as I installed it with fresh motor oil and carefully pushed into the seat - but how fast would this leak if this was the case?
If I get a sweat from bottom right only of oil pan after randomly 300-1000km of driving does it seem more likely to be a rear cover etc as opposed to the CMP sensor.
Would CMP sensor leak a lot if this was the case?

If you mean aound the starter area, that could be the crank sensor oring, which is the same as the cam sensor oring, and the crank sensor is right above the starter (which is a PITA). Both of them can leak a *lot*. The orings should made from viton, which is also called fluoro-elastomere (or something like that). Or just make sure they're rated for temps up around 300F.
