E brake rubber grommet

Does anyone know where to buy the rubber grommet piece that goes on back of backing plates for e brake? Car is a 1999 z28 trying to get this done before my s60 comes. Thanks

I have a friend that has an extra pair but they have gone with the nipple mod.

I hightly recommend doing the mod. I replaced the factory silicone boots for years, but they never lasted more than 12 months. These have lasted for over 6 years and are still going strong!!!

This is the wrong size for the F-Body. It also has the same issue as the OEM part and deteriorates rapidly.

Then I wonder what backing plates those are in my Stock 2002 WS6 as it fit mine just fine and sure thought it qualified as an F body.... 3 years and they are still going strong

The Doorman truck brake boots are slightly larger than the ones made for the F-Body. Members here have been able to squeeze them into the bracket and use them, although I personally had a lot of difficulty. (Mine were exposed to road salt and were weak/rusted. They almost cracked.) The OEM boots are a little loose in the bracket/retainer.

I nice add for Dorman here would be a larger bracket/retainer for the F-Body to better accomodate these larger boots. (They should function work just fine.)

Heavier silicone (like the bottle nipple) would also be great.
