MAF repair

I broke one of the little wire diodes on the Delphi/slp MAF, (bottom middle) while priming my car can it be repaired. I can weld/soldier anything..

Go to the junk yard and buy a spare MAF for cheap. I know people that can weld metal mammary glands onto an upside down female snow woman but that doesn't translate into THIS KIND of soldering talent. The proper electronic response of the MAF is accurately calibrated and your soldering will likely distort that number.
