Failing Heater Core? Hey everyone,
I had a pretty substantial recent exterior coolant leak around the passenger side firewall, like it dumped a bunch of coolant at once after engine shut down. I topped off the coolant and am still loosing coolant while driving, but I’m not seeing the leak anymore. The passenger carpet is dry, but it does look like it could’ve been wet at some point. So I’m thinking heater core, but I do still have strong heat from the vents, although the windshield fogs pretty good with heat on.
Any possibilities other than heater core before I swap it out?

If the pressure test doesn't show anything, I would look to a leaking water pump. Mystery passenger side leaks that show up and drip after the car shuts off and drain the system when the car is running fit with a weeping pump.
