My air conditioner broke. And I took the belt off the hump. Does the fan affect the operation?

Yes, the fan helps move air over the A/C condnser. When the fan isn't working, the A/C won't be as efficient.

What vehicle??? What hump??? Does your vehicle have electric or belt driven fan? Broke? Any diagnosis?
