Low oil light
Low oil light Need some help. Ok, I bought a 99 ws6 and it’s got some issues. Start of with small one. Drive 500 miles home and after I get home I start up in morning and the low oil light came on. I was changing oil anyway but changed it and it’s staying on? Any clues on that? It has about 6 new qts oil and new filter and showing top of operating range on the dipstick. Started it up and pressure gauge was showing 60ish. Any help would be appreciated

On the LTx cars, the oil level sensor gets burnt by the OE cats often when people are not mindful during oil changes, plus design puts the connector less than an inch away from cat. Id start at the sensor connector then sensor itself.
Well, no cats here but heres an update if anyone else comes across it. I didnt drive it after wards but the next day I started it up and it was gone so Id imagine if I drove it down the rode it would have reset. Appreciate the help! thanks
