Vacuum Leak I recently changed out my blower motor because it wasn't working properly due no air flow when hitting the switch for defroster regardless of the speeds. After the install I heard a little pop sound from the back of the dash almost like a balloon pop. I have full blower speed now but the issue I am running into is I only have functionality to my defroster and feet to blow air and not out of the main vents. I saw a YouTube video and tried replacing one of the T fittings under the hood because it seemed like a cheap and easy solution but that didn't change anything. It might just be a loose tube somewhere but I don't even know where to start looking and before I start taking the blower out again and tracing down every single line I was wondering if anyone has some good advice for me or where I should start looking. Photos would be great or just where would that line typically might get disconnected from or is it something else?
You need a MightyVac to trace it. This should be standard kit for everyone's toolbox and it has a million other uses:
