Unhappy Troubling p0342 code with 402ci swap

Morning everyone, trying to help a friend with his fbody. He's currently troubleshooting a p0342. Below in quotes is a post I copied from another group. Any help is greatly appreciated fbody community!

For starters he also used oem cps sensor and even swapped the connectors out. He traced for voltage drop and checked for open/ closed circuit between the cps and pcm. He also went as far as opened the front cover to verify the cam bolts didn't come loose. Lastly he also swapped pcm with another and the p0342 also popped up again as well.

"I am working on 2001 camaro was 5.7 ls1 car and after 402 lq4 swap has p0342 camshaft sensor a stuck low and tach drops out this is a capture of when it happens and everything seems fine too me also I have a crank and cam shoot"

No photos are showing up.

It would be good to look at the cam sensor signal with a scope to see what signal is putting out, waveform and stuff.

Bump. Should this post be relocated elsewhere?
