Default 2001 Camaro SS window trouble.

Driver side window and passenger side window will go up but not down with driver side switch.

Passenger switch works on passenger window up and down. I've replaced the switch and pig tail on the driver side and still does the same thing. Any help figuring this out would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like a wiring issue, chase the wires that run from the switch through the rubber hose in door and see if there broken somewhere.

I have a 2004 Cadillac Deville DTS that is plagued by window issues until you fix them. Then they're all good. That being said, on the car there are wires running through the B-Pillar that become fayed and worn. They break eventually. I'll bet this is the exact same issue. Broken, brittle, worn out wiring may be causing your issues. Trace them through any and all pillars, doors, etc, and I believe you will find your issue. Being electrical is the bummer. You can't see it to fix it. I hate electrical while others take to it like a fish to water.

Good luck.
