replacing fuel pump?

I know of guys that pull the carpet back on the rear deck and cut an access hole. That usually takes about a couple hours from the first cut to finish. They recommended it rather than take the gas tank off. I had my pump done when I changed rear ends. Are you sure it's the pump? My opti went out and I thought for a while it was the pump but the dealership pointed to the opti finally.

And change that fuel filter, a piece of debris could be lodging in the output side of the filter. If it is happing after a consistent amount of time everytime, of course then it's probably not the filter. All the little ****'s worth a shot though.
