Default car acting weird, fuel filter?

here is the story, i took my car on sat and got the oil changed, while i was there they flushed out the oil system and fuel system, then they added like some additive called tx7 or something, then they also replaced the fuel filter. on sat the car ran fine, no problems, even took it out sat night, didn't race anyone, or really even pushed it hard. then sunday morning, i went to church, came back, then when i went out agin i got to a stop light and the car was ideling real rough, didn't think much of it, noticed it agin when i pulled into my girlfriends driveway, then later on my way home. so i unpluged the battery to erase the O2 sensor code, to see if any codes would pop up. on my way back to college when i got on the freeway i could teel the car would like slowslightly and lundge, almost liek it was not getting enough fuel or something. and whan driving from a stop it would kind of jerk as it accelerated. while on the freeway the SES light came on and started blinking, then it would go steady for a while, then start blinkng, and so on it seemed like it would start blinking every time i went up a hill (overpass) or slowed down then accelerated back up to speed.
here is my question, could a bad fuel filter be causeing this? or could it be those fuel and oil additives those peopl put in my car? any recomendations helpful.

The bkinking SES meens there is a miss fire some where Check the wires etc they could have messed something up while they were down there and it just took a while for it to work loose. Also pull the PCM Batt fuse to clear the computer leave it out for about 30 secs. Doing this will rest your fuel trims etc. the reason I am saying to do this is that addittive might have messed up a O2 sensor.

Agree with the 02 sensors possibly being messed up. I think I melted mine one night about 5 months ago, had a few fuel additives, 93 octane and HRPs 105 octane I think...great launch and 2nd gear shot 5 foot blue flames out of both cutouts...

All it turned out to be was bad 02s, replaced them and she ran fine again.

I don't believe unplugging your battery resets your fuel trim in the PCM though. I mean if it did your base tune would be screwed up every time you unplugged your battery. It's flashed to memory until edited I thought.

The base tune remains in the computer when you pull the pcm batt fuse it just resets the learned fuel trim not the stored fuel trims. I had to reset mine after a broken valve spring messed everything up. I have been told it is best to reset the pcm to your original tune when ever swapping out O2's.
