electrical problems

electrical problems!!!please help im having some kind of electrical problem could someone please help me? my lights are all screwed up sometimes all of them are on and when i turn on my lights and fog lights only one fog light and one headlight will come on. when i turn the foglight switch off both foglights come on and just which one of the headlights that wants to. once i turn the lights and car off they stay kinda dim and eventually go out. my water pump stays on after i turn the car off and it must be turning on n off when the car is running cause it runs hot from time to time. anybody have any idea what it could be?

Be sure that your WP is not fed power from the Headlight Fuse circuit. Also ensure all grounds for the affected systems are corrosion free and tight, and as SLow TA said, the battery cables. When my Mezeire WP on my LT1 was cutting out, temps would skyrocket, but I didn't see and electrical side effects. You may want to re-wire the WP to run from a dedicated feed from the battery thru an Ignition activated relay.
