no startie If the ignition key has gone bad will the car not push start? Stopped for gas a few minutes ago and it wouldn't start. All accessories worked fine so it wasn't the battery. The starter wouldn't even click so I got out to push it and still wouldn't start. Then I rememered about the key so I pulled it out and cleaned it off, still wouldn't start. Pulled the key back out and fooled with it some more and it started finally. If that's what it is then I know the first thing I'm deleting when the ecm gets here!

It actually sounds as if its a combination, due to him still not being able to push start the car. On the no crank thing, only thing I can come up w/ is the ignition module or even starter solenoid, but it also sounds as if his VATS are having an issue aswell. Ive recently replaced my ignition module due to no crank, but it didnt affect the VATS. Who knows, in speedluvs case the ignition module could be causing the same of both issues.
Maybe OBD2 PCM kills the starter aswell, I dont know much about OBD2. OBD1 VATS only controls the fuelpump.
