Default Seafoam

I just bought a can of seafoam today and wanted to know the best place to use it. Is it ok if I just put it all in my gas tank? I just changed my oil today but I read something that said you would have to change your oil after you use it? I havent even drove my car with the new oil in it. Thanks for any replies.

I have used it on jetskis before, it worked really well. I bought it at napa. I just poured all of it in the gas tank.

i believe seafoam is a top end cleaner and u need to suck it in thru a vaccum line of some kind on the motor itself.

Here are the step that I use to De-Carb with SeaFoam

1.Pull the vacuum line that goes into the intake and attach a section of hose about 3 feet should do.
2.Get a small funnel and attach it to the end of the hose.
3.Have someone hold the RPM's about 1100 while you pour the entire can in should go pretty fast 30s tops.
4.The car will want to stall by the end of the bottle and then shut it off immediately.
5.Let it sit for about 2-4 hours and repeat as necessary depending on how many mile are on your car. For my Z06 with 8k miles I needed 3 treatments to get all the carbon out.
6.Stand back because it will fog out the neighborhood. (Start the car outside the garage).
7.Drive the car in a sprinted fashion to work it all out.
8.You will want to change the oil after about 100 miles.

I found a local shop that help people pass emissions that have De-Carb machine that they pull the fuel lines and run a mix through for about $75. I think this works a lot better.

Hope this helps.

^ That is 100% correct. This stuff is great on both N/A and FI setups. I use it on my Camaro and Stealth every other oil change and noticed improvments after eath use. It will cause your car to smoke for a few miles so have fun because everyone will look at you like your nuts for the first few miles.
