LT1 Tune Up How much might a shop charge to change plugs in an LT1? I just got a '97 Formula and not used to working on engines that a mouse couldn't squeeze through the engine bay LOL. |

THis is the labor for plugs ONLY. Labor for wires and parts would be additional. |
Just get the right tool's and do it yourself :) |
funny, I am in the need for plugs and wires and the lowest i've been quoted is $450 labor...and that is at the dealership! |

Labor at a dealership is murder, but so is changing the plugs on an LT1. :eek2: Personally I'll take the shredded hands instead of a bill from the dealership. |

In order to do the wires, they are probably charging a minimum of 1-1.5 hrs more.........remember theres a lot of routing to do on an LT1. |
