Default LT1 Tune Up

How much might a shop charge to change plugs in an LT1? I just got a '97 Formula and not used to working on engines that a mouse couldn't squeeze through the engine bay LOL.

Labor time is 2.7 hours, so most shops would get about 150-200 bucks. THis is the labor for plugs ONLY. Labor for wires and parts would be additional.

Labor at a dealership is murder, but so is changing the plugs on an LT1. Personally I'll take the shredded hands instead of a bill from the dealership.

The 2.7 is labor for JUST PLUGS. In order to do the wires, they are probably charging a minimum of 1-1.5 hrs more.........remember theres a lot of routing to do on an LT1.
