headlight door problem??

i have a 99 T/A when i locked or unlocked my car only the parking lights used to flash. now all of a sudden the headlight doors open and close, and also the left motor keeps running for about 10 seconds after it closes making a loud annoying vibrating sound. very loud. other than that they function properly.
any ideas as to whats causing it? i looked at it, nothing seems jammed, broke or loose.
