A/C making bad noises
Thanks,

It looks like you should only have to remove one piece of the dash to get to it, under/behind the glovebox - the "right closeout/insulator panel". There's a couple of flanges/retainers on the left edge of the panel to unhook/slide apart, and two "push-in retainers" on the front edge of the panel. Then there's an electrical connection to disconnect, and three bolts to take out, to be able to remove the blower motor. (When reinstalling, these bolts tighten to 2.3 N-m (20 lb-in).)
"Inspect the blower motor for deposits of foreign material, cracked blades, a loose impeller retainer, improper impeller alignment."
For 93-02 Firebirds/Camaros: If it's just the impeller/fan, the part number is 52472650, list price of $20. Or if the whole thing needs replacing, the part number for the whole blower motor assembly is 52498954 (previous part number was 52481553), GM list price of $157.
