fuggen drivers side headlight!!! my drivers side headlight has been pmsing on me lately
wont go up, then when its up wont go down. not the gears, took the motor apart and the gears are fine.
i know the motor stops on current draw, and i think that is the problem. seems like there is too much resistance and the motor doesnt want to start. if you manually raise/lower it just to the point that the arm is a bit off the stopper thingy, itll work.
today i put big duct tape spacers on the stoppers to the arm doesnt travel as far back and build up resistance and it seems to work, but its only been on there for like 10 minutes
anyone else have any ideas?
you think the motor is shot?
anyone know the part number for the motor (drivers side)

I had the same problem and what it was in my case was that the actual connector that plugged into the acuator had rusted. All the pins were not making any contact at all. Got a new connector and problem solved. Take a look at it, that might be the culprit.
