Fuel Gauge Problem

Fuel Gauge Problem I just bought a 95 LT1 formula, but the fuel gauge isn't acting right. The gas tank had about 10 gallons in it but the gauge is reading maxed out with the car on and off. WHen I shake the car the needs moves a touch. What is the problem here? Wiring, floater?
the guage is the problem... the person who designed it was a dumbass... you will notice that...
everytime you brake, the needle goes down
everytime you accel., the needle goes up
everytime you turn left, the needle goes up
everytime you turn right, the needle goes down.
every LT1 has it...
and the tank holds like 12 gallons or so.

It barely moves, and when the car is off the gauge is still maxed out. You still think it is only the gauge. When I shake the car it budges, but not drastically. I have to replace the entire gauge cluster to don't i?
