Rear hatch strut/shock?

Rear hatch strut/shock???? Ive got a 2002 camaro and my right hatch strut lift went out. Ive gone to the dealer and they wanted to charge me $65.00 for one(to much IMO). So then I went to Autozone and they had them but it only went up to 2000 and theirs only cost $25.00. My question is, is their any difference between a 2000 and 2002 rear hatch strut/shock. Ive seen them on ebay for like 50 bucks a pair and they say they fit 93-2002 Camaros, so would the one for 2000 fit my car so I can save money.
