Default need to fix my leaking t-top

its leaking from the part closest to the drivers side window, towards the front of the car. can i replace the weather stripping or coat it in something to get it to stop leaking. also im goin to be getting SFC soon so thata shoud help a bit. any ideas. i searched but got nothing really specific aside from diaelectric grease. WTF is that?

did u make sure that the seal that overlaps over the ttop seal isnt smuched when you put the ttops on.

I noticed mine leaked when going through the car wash, once I got subframes it stopped almost completly, just a drop maybe gets through.

I'm pretty sure its a grease you use for electrical conections. Let me know if I am wrong.

Yes, the same grease you put in your spark plug wires.

When I worked for GM, I worked with one of the engineers from Ste. Therese. When he found out I had a Z28 w/ t-tops, he told me there were two rules to t-top ownership:

1. They're going to leak.
2. If you screw with them, they're going to leak worse.

I'd try the silicone grease, but beyond that I'd leave them alone unless you've got puddles in your floorboards.
