a/c messed up
a/c messed up hey all my a/c is working cold air blows out the bottom vents and the defrost vents, but no air comes out the main passeger vents the air is stuck on defrost and feet vents what could this be??
the line will be comming from the passenger side and connect to the map sensor and on the passnerger side of things. Just reach back there for something and you should be able to do this without taking the manifold off, (that is only if its just disconnected)
ok i looked back there today, and i saw to lines conected to the fire wall right in front of the passeger side that came out under the condensor tank thing and then hooked into the side of the watter pump right by the stat are those the line u guys are talking about??? also right before the middle vents when out i heard a noice like a floping noice coming from the vents when i put the fan on high then after a day or so the vents stoped working and only the tops and bottom would blow air, would that be one of them valve things???

o also iam starting to get a funny smell out of the vents it smells kinda like brake fluid or some other kinda oil or lubricant or something like that.

I"m having the same problem with the vents not working and haven't figured out how to fix it yet.. The smell is weird that sounds like what happend in my truck when the heater core went out in it, anitfreeze would come out and leaked under my carpet it was a damn mess, I'm not sure if mine is that yet or not I don't smell nothing yet
