Default new motor leaking

well I finish putting the motor in its running pretty good. I already got a base tune on it but but soon after it starting leaking from the passanger side. I already did a search and for most guys it has leak from where the water pump is at.. I already check it yesterday nothing comes out from the water pump.. the leaking for some reason is most noticable behind the started .. There isnt any hoses or anything that leaks around so Iam confunsed on what it can be. I also check the radiator.. oh yeah forgot to mention this at first my radiator cap was leaking when i would punch it,so I changed it, i wanted to get a radiator cap that would hold more pressure but had to settle for the same pressure as the stock. The radiator cap no longer leaks but know I have this proble.. I also turned on the car put it on jack stands and got under it, I could see where the water is coming from even checked on the bottem part of the heads but didnt really noticed anything. any suggestions on what it can be? the motor is a complete long block that I put into the car.

Far from an exact diagnosis, however, if you have coolant coming out of the side of the engine, there are only a couple of possibilites:

1. Cracked block
2. Cracked head
3. Bad head gasket, incorrect assembly of head/gasket/block
4. Coolant flowing from another location just running off att his point
5. Lots of coolant hoses on the passenger side, bad hose or bad connection

Does it leak all the time, only when running, only off after running hot for a while?

After it cools, can you find the stain on the engine where the coolant comes from, trace that back to its origin?

Was this a brand new engine?

well to tell you the truth i wouldnt think its a cracked block but possible. I really dont want that but for now I did trying to follow the water but i cant find it.. the drops come from different places, probably because the water are running down the lines.. if the block was cracked wouldnt the coolent have oil in it? i checked and it doesnt it looks fine but it does get low.. it only leaks when the motor is running. small drops but after a while you can see a small puddle.. worst case scenerio i think might be blown head gasket who knows but that the motor only has 1k in miles. it was build by lme they do know what their doing thats why Iam trying to figure out what it is.. i also checked the radiator reserve also in the passenger side by the front and no leaks.. i think Iam going to take of the started just to check it out.. I also wanted to get coolent die to see better where the coolent is coming from but couldnt find it yesterday.. hopefully today I'll be able to find something..
