Tie-Rod end castle nuts - 35ft/lbs (420in/lbs) plus up to 1/6 additional turn, or 52 ft/lbs (624 in/lbs) maximum, to allow cotter pin to be inserted.
You can get a service manual from Checkers, Autozone, etc or do a search on the internet for a 'Haynes Repair Manual' for Chevrolet Camaro/Pontiac Firebird 1993-2002 All Models - it's like $25

Thanks. I would like to get a factory service manual, every Haynes or Chilton I've ever had was full of type-o's in the spec pages. The one for my DSM said to torque my headstuds to 25 ft/lbs and my water pump to 85 ft/lbs! Ha!

Screw a Haynes manual. Get yourself a Helms manual.

Do you know if the bolts on the tie rod ends changed from LT1 fbodys to the LS1 fbodys? Trying to use the lt1 bolt and it seems to small.
