Help! timing chain marks

i know this is not LS1 but i just wanted to find out if anyone might know or could point me in the right direction. i have a beater 87 mazda B2600 4x4 and it blew a head gasket the other day. i currently have it torn down to just the bare head bolted to the block. the only catch is that it is a four cylinder with an overhead cam. so i need to remove the timing chain so that i can pull the head off. does any one know what marks to line up so that you can reassemble it the same way so the internal part of the engine stays in time. one the timing chain gear there is one mark but when i line up the timing mark on the crank the mark on the cam gear is pointed to the left 90 degrees from the bottom. there is a plate similar to the one next to the crank (the one with numbers used for timing) at the bottom of the gear but it is completely blank. i need to find out what the marks should line up with so i can reassemble it with the correct timing.

therefore any help would be appreciated. i apologize in advance for in unclear phrases and beginners vocab.

if something doesnt make sense tell me so i can clarify
