Default Replacing the weather stripping

Does anyone know how to replace the weather stripping in the car. I'm going to assume that you just peel the old stripping off then glue the new stripping on. If anyone has ever done this can you give me some advice. Also does anyone have an idea about how much it might cost? Thanks.

The weatherstripping is held in place by being pressed into the flanges and secured with retainers/screws, not just stuck down. http://www.chevyhiperformance.com/techarticles/4577/ has some illustrated instructions - it's for an older car, but I doubt it's changed much
