Default Have a short...

I found the fuse that is draining the battery. It is the headlight and horn fuse. Now what all does this fuse control. And what should I look for (specifically) Just wondering if there is something common that happens. The guy who was helping thinks my headlight motor keeps running when they are off. How's that possible. Wouldn't it strip the gears. My lights work perfectly fine. I took the fuse out and when I put it back in it made a noticable sound like something turned on. Anyhow just wanting to see if anyone has any suggestions before I start looking for bare wires and what not.

Looks like that fuse only controls what it's labelled as (the headlamp doors and the horn).

Ok now question. If a wire was pinched in between a screw. Would that cause the battery to drain. The sheathing was still on and not sliced, however it was flattened out (I guess someone tightened down a screw and the wire went with it.

http://www.imperialclub.com/Repair/E...al/battery.htm (towards the end of the page) seems to say that just pinching a wire between metal surfaces can sometimes be enough to get a ground, so it's possible...

Well I'll probably find out this saturday if that's the case. If it dies again I don't really know what to do I am dumb as it gets when it comes to electronics and stuff, so this is really hard for me. I tried using a meter (I got it from AutoZone) and when I went to check if I had a draw it blew the fuse. I don't know why. I must have been doing something wrong.

Here's a few articles that might help with that

And here's a couple more, but you'd have to pay to see these: http://www.masterytech.com/productpa...ct_id=dlmrael1
