Plug for the Voltage regulator. I ordered my new plug, and it just got here in the mail.

I have the plug, and terminated wires. So i get to splice into the exsisting wires. yippie......
so my question is, aside from prolly pulling the alternator partially off to connect the plug, how far will i have to go up into the little plasic wire protector so find the terminated ends of this wire?
Also, i have a haynes book, but is there a guide for doing this? or a write up anyone has done? I've done some searching, but got a lot of irrelavent results.
I cant wait to hear it start again. lol

okay. update! i used to think that the wires ran from the plug on the side of the block behind the PS pump...but i think i'm wrong. and my dam,n hayes book has vanished.
any help here would be, awesome.

okay. i got the plug. and i'm ready to hook it up. cept my wires arent labled to hook the "B" wire into the harness wire.....anyone tell me which wire the b wire is? i was going to go from left to right, a-d. but i dont wanna mess this up =(

I just went out and looked at mine.From right to left when you look down at the altenator its the second wire.Mine goes yellow then white.I have it hooked to the white.
You should be able to see in the top of th alt and match the new plug to where the female will plug in.It only uses one prong.Just hook it to that wire.
