SES light, MAF?

last night we were leaving from the car show i got in my car, and damn SES light was on, so i went to auto zone and got the codes pulled, he said it had to do with the mas air flow sensor? he turned it off and everything seems fine the light has not came back on, the car still runs strong? what gives, anything to be worried about?

without knowing what the exact code was, probably just a dirty maf....

clean gently with isopropanol

clean the piece outside in the black housing? or the 3 wires running across the middle of it? thanks,
and what is isporpnal?

the wires. and isopropanol is computer and electronics cleaning alcohol...

You mean isopropyl alcohol? Main ingredient of rubbing alcohol, among other things.
