Headlight motors
Headlight motors Well... I got the copper gears for my headlight motors. Put them in, let the motors sit in a vice for an hour and a half, then put the motors back into the car. Manually put the lights up, and pulled the fuses so that the motors could sit undisturbed over night. I got up the next morning, drove to Autozone.... got the fuses, manually put the lights down, flipped the switch... the lights move about 1/8 of an inch and stop. Turn the switch off.... same thing.
Lastnight, I manually put the lights up, hit the switch, all is good.... turn the switch off, and the lights just sit there. Turn the switch on, the lights go down, and it's back to moving 1/8".
any ideas?
