The first seven plugs took about 30 minutes, the #8 plug took me about an hour. To get to the ones on the left (passenger) side I believe you must remove the AIR tube completely. Unbolt it from the exhaust manifold and remove the plastic clip on the rubber hose to remove it. That makes the first 3 on that side easy. The #8 plug I had another person hold the socket on there and I used an elbow and some extensions to get at it from under the car. Also its easier if you remove all the wires first and then put them back on after you have all the plugs done. There is a really good write up here.

Driver side should be a cakewalk and only take you 15 mins, there's nothing in your way on that side.
As mentioned above on the passeneger side remove the coil pack (5 studs) 10mm socket, back stud is hard to get at so once it's out leave it out when you reinstall. Also remove the AIR tube and you should have no problem getting at all the plugs from the top. #8 is a little tricky but not all that difficult.
good luck

The tube with the black fitting on it is the AIR tube, it's removed from the pass side pic below pretty sure those were 10mm also
Passenger side should look like this:

Word to the rest of the posts, the pass. side is the bitch. With the egr and coil packs out of the way, along with the right combination of swivels and extensions, its not too bad. The rear pass. side was the worst. I used a jack handle over the handle of my ratchet to break it loose after busting my fist on the firewall.

When I did the cam swap, I got the number 8 plug in and out from the top by holding the spark plug socket in my hand and slowly twisted to avoid cross threading.

i have my air injection and EGR removed... driver's side is easy, pass. side i take off the coil-pack and kneel ON the intake manifold to get the number 8 out. that's the best way for you to get at it in my opinion.

plug changes are a lot easier with headers, especially without emissions. 8 is a bitch no matter what. it is easier from the bottom, but is not necessary to do it that way. removing the coil packs is defenately necessary on the passenger side. i think i did all except #8 in like 20min last time. but 8 took me a solid hr alone. gettin it broke free and tightened was a major b
