oil leak rear of block

Default oil leak rear of block NEED HELP

i just picked up an 96 z28 and i found that it is leaking oil somewhere on the back of the block above the tranny. if anyone could help me out at all that would be great

its either the back of the intake manifold where it mates with the block (common)
or its the rear main seal (also common) but a bit more of a chore too repair

well if he said above the trans then it's prolly the intake manifold leaking and like simple mentioned that's very common and very easy to take care of.

while u have the intake off time for a cam swap. or while you have the trans out time for a new clutch or stall convertor
