breaking in an engine on synthetic?

this is NOT another "best" oil topic How do you guys feel about breaking in an engine on synthetic? I used to Believe in using reg. oil first then switching to syn. after break in. But......
Soo many OE's use syn.for factory fill. So...isn't that better than the old school way?
Lemme know what u guys think.

I understand it MAY delay ring seating but with such accurate and fine honing procedures today it's not as big a prob. as it used to be like back in the day,the OE's wouldn't let new cars leave the lot smoking ALL the time. Besides i'd rather have the rings take a little longer than have more friction in other areas of the motor w/conv.motor oil. The last motor i "refreshed" and honed myself didn't smoke oil from day one.
