Car runs hot Is it possible to change out the fan relay on an '02 for one that will kick in at a lower temp? I put in a 160 deg. thermostat this last week, and the car seems to be just a LITTLE cooler, not the 50 degrees I was looking for. I spoke with my mechanic, who tells me that this is cause the fans dont kick on till over 200 degrees, and no thermostat is gonna solve this for me.
So, is there any such thing as a sensor or relay that will kick em in sooner?

Lower Tstat will require tuning for the fan to turn on at lower temperatures.
I believe SLP sells a manual fan switch, and there are a few ways to make one on your own. Search for "fan switch" or similar.

Don't go by your temp guage as its fake. They have 3 readings, cool, normal(210*) even if the motor is at 180, and overheating. You can wire in some fan switches and you'll need a scanner to see the actual engine temp.
