Default Does anyone know easy way to change this??

I need to replace my daytime running light assembly on my 00 Trans Am The lense on my old one was cracked which caused water & moisture too seep inside & kept popping my bulb. Would it be easier to go from underneath the car or should i try it by disassemble the front head light cover. Any suggestions on this. Ive looked at the Trans Am General Maintenance book but it dosent say how to replace this entire assembly only the bulb.

Thanks

You may be able to do it by raising the head light and removing the headlight bezzel and reaching it. If you still need more room, put the light back down and under the hood remove the 2 bolts that hold the assymbly to the car, use something to mark it so you will be able to put it back in the exact same place.

had to replace both of mine a couple months ago .. just drove it up on the rhino ramps and did it from underneath. took about 20 minutes a side, with my big, fat hands. if you have one of the small finger ratchets, it will make it go a lot quicker.

I did mine on monday. I jacked up the car just enough so I could get under it and did it from under. It wasn't hard at all took about 30 minutes to do both. I used a small ratchet to get in to the small space.
