Default Whistle from engine bay

Hey guys, yes I searched it but found nothing to answer my question. I have a whistle when i let off of the gas cruising around town, what could it be? It also stops when the car stops and the rpms fall to idle...

serpentine belt
take a look at it to see if its visibly worn / cracked / etc.
if it is.. replace it

the thing likes to whine a lot when its old. and it's cheap to replace.

Yep, sounds like a belt to me too. Especially since the sound is RPM-driven. The fourth-gen cars actually have two belts. While you've got the large serpentine belt off, it makes good sense to go ahead and replace the little belt that drives the alternator or air conditioning (can't remember which one it is without looking at the car).
