Weird electrical problem About 3-4 weeks ago I went to test my battery and found that it was dead so I bought a new one. I drove the car that day and since then it has sat in the garage. Tonight I went to grab something out of my car but my remote didn't work. Once in the car, I put the key in the ignition to see if anything worked and nothing. I broke my trickle charger out and it stated that my battery was charged. I checked to make sure the battery cables were hooked up fine and they were. Even with the charger still hooked up, I tested to see if I got any juice. Dead as a doornail.
How can this be? The car worked a few weeks ago, nothing had changed, the battery is relatively new and, according to my charger, is fully charged. What do I need to check or what could be the problem?
