Power Steering Problems
Power Steering Problems Alright well my power steering was howling and stuff so i look at it and the fluid is really milky and foamy. So i think there must be water and stuff in the system so i flush it out and get all new fluid in and it still howls. It isnt milky looking anymore but when i turn the wheels or rev it up it howls. It doesnt really howl at idle just every once in a while. And when ir howls the fluid gets kinda bubbly or foamy. Is my pump bad or leaking by or whats the deal. I dont really want to buy a new pump and put it on and find out its not my problem. Any help would be great. Thanx
Power Steering Alright well my power steering pump howls and the fluid in it was really milky looking so i flushed the system and put new fluid in and it still does it. It doesnt do it when its cold but after it is running for about 10-15 mins it starts to howl again so i put a new pump on it and it still does it. Is there a line turned around somewhere or is the rack messed up or whats the deal? Any help would be geat. Thanx

I think the pumps are shitty. I'm pretty sure mine howls like a blower sometimes. Guys have had them crap out with not alot of miles. I plan to just replace mine. I say I'm pretty sure because I'm pretty sure that it's my power steering pump making that noise.
