what causes hard starts?
this is only when its cold... warm/hot it starts one revolution no problem.
car is a 99 with 63k miles
Hopefully we can get this solved. Switch it to run and let the fuel pump prime. When it stops making that nice electrical whine, it's primed and ready to go - fuel is in the lines. Then turn the key all the way over. It should turn right over like butter. This reduces wear on the starter...beyond that, there are many other things. But you can try and narrow it down..elctrical, fuel, internal engine etc.
good luck ya'll
